Today’s devotion will be a little different.
Did you know God is wildly in love with you?
He celebrates you.
Did you know He does not see you the way you see you?
If you are like me, there are days the guilt of your past creeps up. That is the enemy! He is a liar! Your heavenly Father hasn’t thought about it since you gave it to Him! He never looked back! He sees you complete, washed clean, and strongly desires a close relationship with you. So many are wondering where the power of God is at in America right now. It’s not in the works we do, which are often marvelous and good. It’s not in our programs and it isn’t in our churches. The power of God is found in the revelation of who the Father is, the fact He is madly in love with you, and He is waiting on you with open arms.
Right now, someone reading this will think their past is too bad for God to love them, this is the whisper of Satan trying to divide your relationship with the Father through your perception of the Father! Think outside the box! The box is packaged in religion, rules, regulations, do’s and don’ts, the Father wants a relationship with His children! Much of the things we do to “get close to God” or to “move God” would have to teach Jesus about! You are walking in the cloud of the lies of Satan, God loves you more than you can imagine! The sin of your past is weighing on you because the enemy wants to divide you from the presence of the Father and to skew the love of God in a way that positions Him as a hateful, mean, angry father, and that is not who He is!
