Let That Go from Your Hands

Have you ever tried to juggle? Not things in life, like, literally juggle two objects. It’s tough! You cannot focus on anything, even the two (or more) objects you are juggling, you just focus on catching them as they fall into your hands. Think about how we try to juggle our love for the things of this world, but being drawn to the things of God. We ask for provision, but not wisdom or creative business ideas. We juggle the things of this life, and, by the designed strategy of the enemy, fail to, at times, keep our eyes on the marvelous things of God. Maybe you are wrestling with drawing closer in love with Jesus, but still have a grip on something you don’t want to give up in this world. Just let it fall. Just let it go. Just let it drop.

There’s so many life-coaches, success-coaches, mentors who can help you reach your goals and get rid of clutter in life. But, if you want to experience massive, rapid, unexplainable growth, it begins with first loving God wholeheartedly, seeking His wisdom, asking for His direction, and then getting quiet, and listening. Love is an action friends. If we pretend to be wise, if we boast in our own wisdom and abilities, but do not demonstrate it in our love for the Father, we are badly deceived. So, today, what is it that you are juggling? Most of us are juggling work, family, church, and that is just on the surface! When we go deeper, there is so many things we are wrestling with internally, but the Father is saying, “Just let it drop. Just let it hit the floor, release it from your grip.” Sometimes, the greatest breakthrough isn’t simply in a vague prayer, but it is found in petitioning the right things of the Father. He is calling. He is drawing you close to Himself. Will you let go of the things that are keeping you from embracing Him with open arms?

Heavenly Father, Thank You for the wisdom to see that it is time for me to let some “stuff” go in my life so I can be free to pursue You, embrace You, and all You have for me. Today, I am letting those things that hold me back from You drop to the floor. I come to You open-handed, open-heart, and open arms. -Amen

But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.
