The Unfailing Love of God
Have you ever had a day where you felt like David did in Psalm 13? How long, oh God, will you forget me? It may seem like God has forgotten you right now, and it may seem like He doesn’t hear you or listen to you, maybe you feel like He doesn’t even know you exist! Allow me to dispel those lies of the enemy: God is not surprised by your circumstances, your challenges are no challenge to God. Why does God delay in our need? I do not have an answer, and I sure will not say it is due to lack of faith! He alone is God! Today, be encouraged by knowing, if it seems like you are at the end of your rope and without any hope, CRY out to God, HE HEARS you and will come to your aid.
It may seem as God is looking the other way, that He has forgotten you, or that you are alone in this journey. Use your place of desperation to propel you into a closer walk with Him, positioned for breakthrough, and empowered to be more than victorious in this world. He sees it all, and He is not going to fail you. SPEAK His word over your life. David’s response in his desperation found in verse 5 should be our anthem, “But, I will trust in your unfailing love.” Today, if your world is falling down around you, if it seems like God is not responding as fast as you would like, remember David’s cry, “But, I will trust in Your unfailing love.” His love never fails!
Heavenly Father, Today, in the midst of an evil, hateful world, I choose to believe You know best for me. I know Your timing is best and I will trust in Your unfailing love. Thank You for loving me, for healing me, for providing for all my needs, and for giving me direction in this life. -Amen
