Resolve to No Longer Compromise! Never!

It won’t take you long to find someone who demonstrates a deep hate for Christians and Christianity. Maybe you’ve experienced that hatred; family gatherings, in the workplace, in town, or in your own home. At some point, we have to resolve that, no matter the cost, we will remain faithful and loyal to the King of kings, Jesus. Yes, your spouse may leave you if you refuse to renounce your faith, you may lose your job, you may face heartache and tremendous financial challenges, but, is He worth it? It’s not a matter of glorified sacrificial living as human beings, it is a heart issue. Many times in Scripture we read “guard your heart,” not, “guard your hands” or “guard your genitals.” All sin originates in the heart of man. The only solution to that is to be unequivocally resolute in our relationship with God.

There are thousands of different theological viewpoints, many divisive topics, including marriage, theological views, and politics to name a few. In fact, many of those words, the words all by themselves, provoke a feeling in our hearts. What are you willing to compromise for temporary gratification? Jesus didn’t come into this world to bring peace to the world. He came to break up the party! I do not mean this in a militant manner, but reading Luke 12:49-53 we see where, as we take a stance for Christ, we will see great conflict. It is in those situations where we must be determined to remain on course and keep our eyes on Jesus! What’s your price tag for compromise? It’s time to take yourself off the shelf and commit 100% to the Master of Creation!

Heavenly Father, Thank You for not giving Yourself partially for me. Thank You for paying the entire price for my salvation. I ask You to give me the willpower and resolve to stand for You in difficult and challenging moments of conflict and compromise. -Amen
