The Law of Abundance
I approach this topic with caution in large part due to the inaccurate and deceptive manner in which many have used the Word of God as a “get rich quick scheme” in the past. There are so many things out there that people say we have to do in order to live an abundant life, but it is not as complicated as we make it out to be. You will not hear me tell you to send me “x” number of dollars in exchange for God’s blessing. I do believe, however, there are a few points to consider as we transition from a position of “enough” to a place of abundance.
Three things affect our place of abundance in life: What we suppose (or think on, dwell on, believe), what we say (the words we speak), and the seed we sow (giving.) The key to shifting into a place of abundant living begins and ends with obedience; obedience to the Word of God, obedience to His commands to give, and obedience in living a life that is pleasing to the Father. We would all be foolish to believe we could achieve anything great without first seeking the ways of God’s kingdom and to please Him first. When we do this, abundance will be a byproduct of our living, not a focal point.
Heavenly Father, Help me to remember that You came to give me life and life to the full, that You promise to meet every need and You reward obedience with tremendous blessing and favor. Show me the thoughts that I think that do not align with Your truth, and teach me to speak life and blessing instead of cursing and death. And above all, Father, may all I do glorify Your name and be a testament to others of who You are. -Amen
Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little.
Philippians 4:11-12 NLT
P.S. I have some availability in 2018 still for ministry opportunity in the U.S. I am ordained with the Association of Evangelical Gospel Assemblies (AEGA www.AEGA.org) and have been ministering in churches for over a decade. My number one priority is honoring the Father in whatever I speak, do, or write and to enrich the lives of those I am blessed to encounter with the message of His truth. If I can serve you, please do not hesitate to contact me. Have a great day!
